As part of its growing commitment to the gaming community, Globe returns as the main presenter of the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) for the second consecutive year, this time offering an even more rewarding experience for gamers. The highly-anticipated event will be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from November 3-5, 2023.

This year’s ESGS celebrates its decade-long journey in the gaming realm, promising an extravaganza grander than ever. With the theme “Progress”, ESGS seeks to highlight significant advancements within the industry and its community over the past 10 years, where it is now, and where it is headed.

Organized by Gariath Concepts, ESGS has consistently offered unparalleled gaming experiences and is known for staying abreast of the latest gaming trends, news, and announcements.

“Our partnership with Gariath Concepts underscores our enduring commitment to the gaming community. This year, our carefully curated activities mirror the passions of our gamers. We want to make each of them a winner by giving them a more rewarding ESGS experience,” said Ralph Aligada, Director and Head of Games, Esports, Innovation, and Metaverse at Globe.

Richard Brojan, CEO of Gariath Studios, added, “Globe has been an instrumental partner in elevating the ESGS experience, and this collaboration becomes even more significant as we commemorate our 10th year. Gamers can anticipate an ESGS like never before. The keyword here is “reliability,” and together with Globe, we are setting new standards.”

To get the full experience, gamers are encouraged to sign up in Globe Gamer Grounds, which will serve as their ticket to unlocking everything that Globe has in store for them at ESGS.

Globe customers attending the event can expect exclusive perks such as a 5% discount on tickets, 10% discount on ESGS merchandise, an opportunity to win a 3-day pass by redeeming Globe Rewards points on GlobeOne app, and an express lane for attendees displaying a registered Globe SIM card. There will also be a grant tailored for a standout game developer, cosplayer, or game merchant.

For ease in travel going to the venue, Globe customers will also get complimentary GET bus shuttle services from three pickup points– UP Town Center in Quezon City, One Ayala in Makati City, and Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa City– to the World Trade Center.

Additionally, Globe is poised to enhance the ESGS experience with an experiential booth that celebrates the gamers’ life wins. Participants can donate their Globe Rewards to the Hapag Movement, a Globe-led initiative that aims to address involuntary hunger. They may also win freebies, get free arcade plays and meet renowned streamers.

As the esports industry in the Philippines flourishes, Globe consistently leads the way. By introducing innovative platforms, products, and initiatives specifically designed for Filipino gamers, the company solidifies its commitment to shaping the future of gaming and esports in the nation.
