The game is set to release on August 8, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which originated from the web novel submission site, ‘Shōsetsuka ni Narō’, and has since been featured in various media platforms, is getting its first console game! This action RPG relives the story of SLIME while working with friends to develop the Jura Tempest Federation.

Users can experience the anime story by encountering the Kijin in the battle against the Kingdom of Falmuth. Dive into an entirely new original story supervised by the original author, featuring new characters drawn from the original story. The story also depicts a confrontation with a new and powerful enemy.

In battle, players can make full use of the special moves with animations and perform flashy combos in the side-scrolling action. Create a distinct fighting style using ‘Bond Special Moves’, in which Rimuru learns his friends’ special moves by leveling up bonds with them.

Additionally, this title introduces a unique feature called “Tempest Resonance,” a building element where rewards gained from fighting fuel the country’s growth. The unique growth system in this title allows each character status to be strengthened by building and enriching facilities in the Jura Tempest Federation.
