HoYo FEST 2024, the annual celebration of HoYoverse titles by the global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse, concluded this past weekend with overwhelming success. The festival hosted tens of thousands of passionate fans in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, marking the fourth consecutive year of the event in Southeast Asia.

Fans across the region engaged in various immersive activities, including themed booths showcasing HoYoverse games, onstage competitions, and opportunities to purchase official merchandise. Attendees also received exclusive HoYoverse freebies and were delighted to watch the live stream of Genshin Impact Version 5.0 Special Program Preview at the events. The event was further enlivened by fans arriving in cosplay as their favorite HoYoverse characters throughout the event, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

HoYo FEST in Indonesia and Vietnam featured the Artist Alley for the first time, providing local artists with a platform to showcase and sell their fan-made creations. A total of 19 artists from Indonesia, and 26 artist and content creator groups from Vietnam participated, offering a variety of items inspired by HoYoverse, including pins, keychains, and drawings. The Artist Alley was a significant highlight, celebrating local talent and creativity in Jakarta and Ho Chi Minh City.

Through the Artist Alley, HoYoverse is thrilled to have been able to support local creatives in Indonesia and Vietnam. Community engagement is at the core of HoYoverse’s DNA, and we are proud to have been able to nurture local creative talent and help them share their passion for Animation, Comics, and Games.

While HoYo FEST 2024 has come to an end, fans in Southeast Asia can look forward to several upcoming HoYoverse events in the region. Highlights include the Genshin Concert Tour scheduled across various Southeast Asian countries, and an exciting collaboration with S.E.A. Aquarium in Singapore this September.
