Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions Launches on Nintendo Switch

Season 1 Now Live and 6v6 Pro Quidditch Mode Releases

Warner Bros. Games and Epicsoft Asia announced that Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, the ultimate fast-paced Quidditch experience, is now available on the Nintendo Switch system. Players can now purchase the digital Standard Edition for $29.99 (SRP) and the physical and digital Deluxe Editions for $39.99 (SRP) on Nintendo Switch, as well as PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Xbox One.

 

 

This officially marks the start of Season 1, themed after the infamous Hogwarts class, Defense Against the Dark Arts. Season 1 will include the following:

  • Holiday-themed events including Holidays at Hogwarts and the Yule Ball
  • New Snowy Burrow map as part of the Holidays at Hogwarts event
  • Three all-new brooms with unique upgrade tracks
  • Hero skins for Bellatrix LeStrange, Severus Snape and more
  • New emotes, cosmetics, wands and more

 

Also released was the all-new “Pro Quidditch Mode,” which introduces 6v6 PvP, allowing two teams of six players each to compete in competitive online matches.

Featuring iconic wizarding world locations, characters, and references that fans will love, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions highlights the rush of flying across legendary arenas as either a Beater, Chaser, Keeper or Seeker in a variety of modes including solo play, competitive multiplayer and online co-op. From backyard battles in the Weasley Burrow to high-stakes showdowns at the Quidditch World Cup, players will soar into legendary arenas playing as – or against – iconic characters such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Cho Chang and many others. As a special gift, players who own Hogwarts Legacy will receive the Bonus Legacy Pack when they download Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and connect to their WB Games account. 

The Physical Edition of the Nintendo Switch system will be available on Dec. 6, 2024.
