Com2uS launched a collaboration update between Summoners War: Sky Arena (hereinafter Summoners War) and Bandai Namco Entertainment’s TEKKEN 8.

TEKKEN 8 is the latest title in the legendary fighting game series beloved around the globe.

The update brings five iconic TEKKEN 8 characters to Summoners War: Jin Kazama, Paul Phoenix, Nina Williams, Hwoarang, and Heihachi Mishima. These characters can be summoned using the limited-time Tekken Scrolls, and all players who participate in the event will receive a free default 5★ Heihachi Mishima equipped with Legend Rune sets.

At the in-game collaboration hub “Fight Lounge,” players can enjoy TEKKEN 8’s BGM and access special collab content such as the “Arcade Battle” event dungeon, which adopted TEKKEN 8’s 1v1 fighting game mechanics to offer a fresh experience different from typical Summoners War content. In the Arena Rival Battle, Master X appears to let players try out Collab Characters using the Battle Support feature.

This collaboration also features homage content based on Com2uS’s legacy IP, Super Action Hero 2. The minigame lineup includes “Brick Break,” “Vengeance is Mine,” and “Jump Jump,” which players can play using either TEKKEN 8 Collab Characters or Summoners War Monsters.

To celebrate the collab, Com2uS is running various in-game events until September 30. These include the Nat 5 Heihachi Mishima Giveaway Event, TEKKEN Collab Shop Event, Collab Skill Lab Event, Minigame Play Event, and the Sticker Collection Event. Players can earn generous rewards such as a limited-time collab building, emojis, and more. A special bonus event is also running until September 7, where using 10 Mystical Scrolls or summoning one Collab Character grants an extra Mystical Scroll.

Summoners War is Com2uS’s flagship title, which surpassed 290 million downloads worldwide. The game continues to connect with players through various events and promotions in celebration of its 11th anniversary this year.
