Converge proudly announced its FiberX Student League Ambassador Program during the DimensionX Media Launch held at Baked Studios, Makati City. The event showcased the company’s commitment to empowering the next generation of digital talent, particularly within the student gaming and tech communities.
The FiberX Student League Program aims to empower 100 student leaders nationwide, with 10 outstanding students selected to become the first-ever FiberX Student League Ambassadors. These ambassadors will serve as frontliners in promoting innovation and digital growth and excellence among youth communities across the country.
“The FiberX Student League will produce a new wave of young innovators who can translate their latent potential into real-world impact,” said JP Aguilar, SVP for Consumer and Business Group at Converge. “We’re excited to see these ambassadors become catalysts for progress in their schools and communities through technology and collaboration.”
As part of this campaign, Converge also unveiled Battlestation Raid, an exciting five-episode digital series that brings every student’s dream study & gaming setup to life. Each episode features a well-known gaming influencer conducting a surprise home raid where deserving students receive a setup makeover, supercharged by Converge.
More than just entertainment, Battlestation Raid serves as an extension of the FiberX Student League’s mission to inspire and empower young students to achieve their X — whether in class, in life, or in play.
Orange Ramirez, VP and Head of Brand and Marketing at Converge, also added, “This program reflects our commitment to nurture a new generation of creators and gamechangers. By equipping our ambassadors with opportunities and experiences that connect them to the digital world, we’re helping them build futures defined by passion, creativity and excellence.”
The chosen ambassadors will enjoy exclusive perks, including limited-edition merchandise and participation in both online and offline activations powered by Converge. As part of the Battestation Raid program, five (5) ambassadors will receive upgraded gaming setups while another five (5) will be flown to Thailand on an all-expense-paid trip to the Thailand Game Show 2025.
“The FiberX Student League is more than just a program – it’s a movement for us. We’re giving the youth a platform to lead, innovate and grow in an increasingly digital world and these ambassadors will represent the future of gaming and tech.” said Sandra Zira, Consumer Segment Marketing Head at Converge.
The DimensionX Media Launch also highlighted the ongoing strategic partnerships between Converge, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and the Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE) through initiatives like the Philippine Collegiate Championship and the Next Gen Program, which are both designed to support the holistic growth of student gamers and future esports enthusiasts.
