STING has released the major Version 1.3.0 update for its board game RPG Viractal: Will You Trust Your Party?, now available on Steam.
The update introduces Sword Maiden Yggdra from Yggdra Union as a brand-new playable character through Bahoko’s second “Otherworld Summoning” event. Players can also challenge the new high-difficulty stage, Sky Harmonia+ and experiment with the newly added Instant Card system, further expanding the game’s strategic possibilities.
With Yggdra’s team-oriented abilities, a challenging new endgame stage, and powerful one-time-use cards, Version 1.3.0 offers both new and returning players even more ways to tackle Viractal‘s unique blend of board game mechanics and tactical RPG combat.
Viractal: Will You Trust Your Party? is a board game-inspired RPG featuring procedurally generated maps and randomized enemy and event placements, ensuring that every playthrough offers a fresh experience.
Players explore the mysterious world of Viractalia, building strategies through a combination of customizable card decks and dice mechanics to forge their own path.
The game also supports online multiplayer, allowing friends to cooperate through coordinated strategy while navigating the risks introduced by its unique “Devil’s Whisper” system, where cooperation and betrayal can coexist.
Sword Maiden Yggdra Joins the Roster
Bahoko’s Otherworld Summoning returns, bringing Sword Maiden Yggdra from Yggdra Union into the world of Viractal.
Princess of the Kingdom of Fantasinia and wielder of hope itself, Yggdra excels as a support-focused character who empowers the entire party while remaining fully capable of joining the front lines with her holy sword, Gran Centurio.
Her exclusive passive ability, Union, rewards players for coordinating elemental attributes with allies, increasing her offensive power through teamwork and reinforcing her cooperative playstyle.
Tactical Cards from Yggdra Union Return
Several iconic Tactical Cards from Yggdra Union have also been recreated as Skill Cards within Viractal, preserving the spirit of the original while adapting them to the game’s card-based combat system.
Yggdra’s signature trump card, Crusade, also makes an appearance. The skill combines the attack power of every ally’s hand into a devastating finishing blow, perfectly reflecting Yggdra’s theme of turning unity into strength.
Sword Maiden Yggdra can be unlocked through the Alchemy Workshop.
New Hard Mode Stage: Sky Harmonia+
Following Dragon’s Garden+, players can now challenge Sky Harmonia+, a brand-new endgame stage designed specifically for experienced adventurers.
Set among the skies, the stage introduces a new gameplay mechanic called Ambush Tiles. Enemies positioned on specially colored platforms will launch preemptive attacks before players can act, requiring careful planning and route optimization.
Existing enemies and bosses have also received additional strategic enhancements, encouraging players to anticipate enemy behavior and adapt accordingly.
Sky Harmonia+ can be unlocked through the Alchemy Workshop.
New Card Type: Instant Cards
Version 1.3.0 also introduces Instant Cards, a new category of Skill Cards identified by a “â—†” symbol at the end of their names.
Although Instant Cards cannot be upgraded, they offer significantly stronger effects than standard Skill Cards. Once used during battle, they are permanently removed from the deck, allowing players to deploy powerful abilities without permanently clogging their builds.
These cards provide a valuable tactical option for overcoming especially difficult encounters when immediate impact matters most.
