Honor of Kings has crowned Mitsura of House Kartelle as the champion of the Honor of Kings Rising Star Cup 2026, following an exciting Grand Finals held on June 27, 2026, at Lucky Chinatown Mall Cinema 1. The Grand Finals event brought fans together for a live celebration of grassroots esports, community pride, and competitive mobile gaming.
The tournament concluded after weeks of battling it out for glory, bringing together aspiring players across the Philippines through a creator-led House system. This year’s Rising Star Cup recorded a total of 81,828 registered players during the registration phase, reflecting the strong momentum of Honor of Kings’ growing esports and player community in the country.
After progressing through the House Open Trial, House Breakout, Semi-Finals, and Grand Final stages, Mitsura of House Kartelle emerged victorious after defeating 1-of-1 Nine Lives of House KielArmy in a Best-of-5 Grand Final, with a final score of 3-2.
The Honor of Kings Rising Star Cup 2026 added a new twist to the community competition through a House-based tournament format, where players first selected one of four Houses before competing in their respective in-house qualifying rounds.
Each House held its own Open Trial from June 8 to 14, where teams competed for a spot in the next stage. The Top 4 teams from each House then advanced to the House Breakout, held from June 18 to 21, which followed a Best-of-3 single-elimination format to determine each House Champion.
The four House Champions later moved on to the Semi-Finals before the final two teams advanced to the Best-of-5 Grand Final.
The four Houses were:
- House of BuNo, led by Butters and Chano, represented by Team The Bayawak
- House of KarTelle, led by Karl and Chantelle, represented by Team Mitsura
- House of BooGie, led by Sh1nboo and Dogie, represented by Team CODE UNKNOWN X VALKYRA
- House of KierlArmy, led by Oheb and Dlar, represented by Team 1OF1 NINE LIVES
Beyond the championship match, the live Grand Finals also served as a community celebration for Honor of Kings players and fans, bringing the House rivalry from online qualifiers to an offline stage at Lucky Chinatown Mall. With each House led by creators and esports figures from the local gaming community, the tournament gave players and supporters more ways to rally together, cheer for their teams, and celebrate the growing Honor of Kings community.
The Rising Star Cup reflects Honor of Kings’ continued commitment to nurturing grassroots esports by giving aspiring players a more accessible platform to compete in a structured tournament environment. From open trials to the Grand Finals stage, the tournament created a pathway for players to test their skills, gain competitive experience, and take the next step in their esports journey.
