The Warriors of Light in the Philippines may not be as big as in the West, but that doesn’t stop them from partying big this August.
Hello, World!, the Philippine community-organized event for the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, will host its third community event. The event will be called Cosmic Market and will be held on August 22, 2026, at the Bayanihan Center in Pasig City.
The team behind Hello, World! (HeWo) originally hosted small gatherings of Pinoy FFXIV players in major geek conventions, then pushed for a bigger FFXIV-centric event in 2023, on the same day when the fifth expansion, Dawntrail, was announced. This year’s event will be the third iteration of HeWo’s big gathering.
Named after the Cosmic Exploration content, Cosmic Market will feature more attractions, including over 40 booths showcasing fan art and fan-made merchandise. Plus, stage activities that every FFXIV fan will enjoy, with each year hosting an auction of the fan-made standees that Warriors of Light will be bidding to take home their favorite Scions. Everyone is also encouraged to cosplay as their favorite character, or even their own WoL character, with a cosplay catwalk segment running at each event.
The main attraction in every Hello, World! event is the WoL sticker exchange; every Warriors of Light will be bringing their personally designed stickers and trading them with fellow WoLs at the event. It’s a creative way of meeting new players in person or catching up with your fellow FFXIV mates.
