The local Street Fighter 6 community brought unmatched hype and passion to the Official Yasmine Community Event, capped off by an unforgettable climax at the Yasmine Celebration Cup Manila last weekend in the Philippines.
This high-octane celebration took place on Sunday, 9 August, at Salud! by Primera Bar & Restaurant in Palanan, Makati, with a packed day of fierce tournament play and fun community activities. Despite continuous rain throughout the day, the weather did not dampen the spirits of the dedicated Street Fighter 6 fans who gathered to celebrate Capcom’s newest warrior!
The venue buzzed with excitement as attendees lined up to experience exclusive event activations, including a custom Claw Machine where players bagged limited-edition Yasmine-themed keychains featuring iconic Philippine destinations, including Mindanao, Bohol, Boracay, the Banaue Rice Terraces, and Rizal Park to commemorate her launch. Fans also walked away with event-exclusive Yasmine-themed T-shirts, hoodies, and lanyards, all crafted specifically to honor her official debut.
The Main Stage: A Cinematic Top 8
The competitive main event delivered pure electricity from 32-player qualifying pool all the way to the Grand Finals. The crowd was wild, roaring with every drive rush, punish counter and parry.

The Grand Finals set up a poetic showdown: top local competitive player ‘H1ghscor3’, mastering Yasmine just one week after her global launch into the Street Fighter 6 roster, faced off against ‘Manza’, who delivered an incredible performance on A.K.I.
After a tense, high-stakes battle, ‘Manza’ managed to reset the bracket, pushing the Grand Finals to a nail-biting final set. ‘H1ghscor3’ held his ground, utilizing Yasmine’s dynamic mobility and space control to push back against A.K.I.’s venomous pressure.
‘H1ghscor3’ sealed the tournament victory with a stunning, cinematic final hit from Yasmine’s Blooming Sampaguita, sending the crowd into an absolute frenzy!

Yasmine is the first character released from the Street Fighter 6 Year 4 roster including Arjun, Tifa from the FINAL FANTASY VII Remake Series, and Bosch. Battle Balance adjustments for the entire Street Fighter 6 roster have also been implemented along with her launch.
Yasmine is now available and ready to cut class (and her opponents) for players who own or purchase the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass. Yasmine’s Outfit 1 showcases her in Eskrima combat attire, while Outfit 2 depicts Yasmine in her school uniform between bouts. Outfit 2 can be unlocked by maxing out her Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode or with Fighter Coins.
